Graduate's Day Preparation

All Honor Roll students are asked to submit their first semester report cards to one of the Scholarship Ministry members or email to mcbcscholarship17@gmail.com by April 30th 2023.

Students who will be progressing from one educational level to the next

(pre-school to elementary, elementary to middle or middle to high) are asked to email a promotion form to information@atlmtcalvary.org by April 30th 2023.

Scholarships Available 2023

Mount Calvary offers scholarships to its members who are graduating high

school seniors or continuing undergraduate students 25 years of age or younger.  Students who would like to apply for these scholarships should download the application below and email the completed package to: mcbcscholarship17@gmail.com by the fourth Sunday in April (April 23, 2023).

MCBC Cornell Seymour Scholarship 2023

We are proud to announce that the first scholarship will be awarded on May 28th 2023. The amount of this scholarship is $1,000.00. All applications should be submitted to the church office by April 27th, 2023.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be an active member of Mt Calvary Baptist Church (attend church regularly, participate in Bible Study, participate in Church School, participate in ministry)

• Must be a full-time student in school, ranking from High School Senior to Junior in Undergrad College.

• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above on the 4.0 scale as of Jan 1, 2023

• Must submit a letter of recommendation from a school leader (ie, teacher, counselor, professor)

• Must submit a letter of recommendation from a Mt. Calvary ministry leader (ie, Deacon, Trustee, Ministry Leader)

• Must submit an essay based on the subject, “How to be a Christian in an Un-Christian Environment” The essay must consist of 350 to 500 words, typed, double spaced, basic font (Times New Roman, Calibri, Arial).

• Must submit an application

• Must submit a transcript (unofficial)

• The entire package of submission may be done at the same time and the deadline to submit package is April 27th of 2023.
